Kardashian Intimates

kardashian intimates

Looking back through the many blog posts I’ve written about fashion, I realized I never featured lingerie. So for the first time ever, here it is: a post about lingerie. But today I’m not just featuring any kind of lingerie; I’m featuring intimates from Kardashian Kollection that I had a chance to sneak a peek at, when I attended the Sears Fall 2012 Preview a couple of weeks ago. The undergarments in the collection feature sexy lace, uplifting bras for a busier look, and of course, leopard print designs. Silky slips, corsets, garter panties, and mesh tights are included in the long list of intimates that the sisters fashionably put together.

A Glam Girl Event in Brooklyn

On Saturday, October 22, 2011, an event was held at Dumbo Loft, located in Brooklyn, NY, to increase awareness of breast cancer and domestic violence. Event host Luxury Style Events, LLC, founded by Suzette Taylor, provided attendees the opportunity to raise funds for the two worthy causes, as well as indulge in style and their sweet tooth.

Many vendors were on hand at the event including, Di’s Jewels & Accessories, which offered a full line of exquisite earrings, bracelets, necklaces and rings in a variety of colors and styles for purchase. Autographed in Pink Ink gave guests the opportunity to explore their creative styles by spray painting t-shirts individually for every personality. And, Shelley’s Quality Lingerie made you feel sexy with featured lingerie styles from Rampage, Victoria’s Secret, Dollhouse and Badgley Misckha, which were all available for purchase at affordable prices.

The event’s headline sponsor Anu: Health and Beauty, a company which offers in-home spa services, provided manicures, pedicures and massages to get you relaxed for the rest of the evening.

It’s Wedding Bells for Fashion Houses

VS

Wedding Season officially kicks off after Memorial Day, and as thousands of couples get ready to walk down the aisle,  fashion houses are emerging with their first-ever bridal collections. Here are the ones to watch:

Lily Aldridge attends the Victoria's Secret Sexy Little Bride launch in New York City.

It’s hard to believe that the world’s most glamorous lingerie line, Victoria Secret, has never had a special collection dedicated to bridal underclothing. Now, thirty-four years later since its 1977 launch, they finally have introduced a sultry line featuring lingerie, veils, beauty products and accessories for a bride-to-be’s bachelorette night, wedding day, and honeymoon.

Kate Spade New York – Wedding Bells

Kate Spade recently launched their first-ever bridal themed collection, Wedding Bells (and Whistles). The line includes 8 little white and off-white dresses, as well as accessories, shoes, bridesmaid attire.  The dresses in the line are defiantly not for the traditional bride, and are very playful and look more like cocktail dresses than something a bride would wear on her wedding day. The accessories and shoes, on the other hand, are absolutely stunning.
