4 Eyes are Sexier than 2

When I was a freshman in high school, I went in for my annual eye exam and almost fell to the floor when the school nurse informed me I needed glasses to correct my nearsightness. Oh, the horror! As if an adolescent’s high school years aren’t traumatizing enough, I was not being told that I have to add this uncool accessory to my face that immediately conjured up images in my head of Steve Urkel from Family Matters. That year, I bought my first pair of glasses, but I refused to wear them for all 4 years of high school. It’s amazing that I did very well in school, and graduated with honors, considering I could never really see the chalkboard or PowerPoint presentations.

When I entered college, I realized that there was no way I would be able to pass any of my classes if I couldn’t see well, so I made the trip down to my local eye doctor and decided it was time to succumb to my fate and purchase some eyewear. To my surprise, there were some very stylish specs; in fact, there were so many glasses that I loved from Prada to Fendi to Dolce & Gabanna, that it was hard for me to settle on just one. I quickly realized that it was foolish for me to go years without wearing glasses, because I was afraid I wouldn’t look “cool.” Glasses are stylish and sexy, and are an instant fashion statement. Here are some famous celebrities who rock their fashionable frames:

Megan Fox still looks like a beauty with her glasses on.
